Description:

Hi,

evolution-brutus (e-b) is an alternative to evolution-exchange for Evolution 2.4 and 2.6. It will add support for Microsoft Exchange 5.5 and later.

e-b is destinguished from evolution-exchange by not using WebDAV to connect to Exchange but native MAPI, mediated by a Brutus Server, just like Outlook.

e-b currently supports Exchange email, tasks and calendaring, is fully functional and ready for end-users. It has been tested on FC 4/5 and Gentoo.

This is my first package so I am looking for a kind sponsor and would very much appreciate a review for inclusion in Fedora Extras.

Best regards,
  jules
