Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora have made last week on Weston/Wayland.
Weston / Wayland
- SPEC-3410 (PipeWire not working on i.MX8MQ EVK). Added some additional minor improvements to current solution
to handle corner cases.
- SPEC-3520 (Add i.MX8MQ machine template that uses etnaviv). Review changes and do some more testing to reproduce
Scott reports. Test latest master branch.
SPEC-3182 (imx8: Bluetooth audio streaming not working). Test latest branch master bluetooth, but unable to make it
work on imx8.

- SPEC-3524 (Attempt to start an already started application results in an error message from AFM). MR postedfor adding support for faking a subscribe event. Unfortunately can't rely on the async callback handler (due
to afb request being out-of-scope at that time) as to catch/handle a potential starting issue with the application.
In order to avoid potential dangling processes an additional verification step will be needed
when retrieving the application from an application list as to determining/verify if the application is
indeed (still) running at that point.
