Here are the contexts and the preferred goals:

1.  At home:  Network the RH9 notebook to the RH8 (soon to be RH9)
desktop and access the contents of the hdd's on either PC from either,
access the desktop printer, access the Internet (desktop dialup) via the
network from the notebook.

2.  At work:  Connect to the M$ network and have full access to
everything (SAMBA will likely handle this fine, only problem I saw
before was that the printer driver for the Lexmark laser was generating
garbage).

3.  Other:  Use the internal modem to access the Internet as necessary.
