Funny. My tour running a computer lab convinced me of the opposite. Vax, hpux, solaris, winxp/nt, and Mac and all of them were a pain and it was only the Macs that I didn't have to do more than system updates. The maclab at Muscat HCT has 20 Imacs, the video editing lab has 10 Imacs and each staff member has one. This is why apple can stay fresh and new. This is also a detriment because they sell you on the latest and greatest FireWire and apple display connectors that sometimes dont get industry support.
