You would think that experience and quality would always take presidency, I think people are loosing their taste for quality, it seams that you have two groups of people now a days, those who just want to do it them selves and those who equate quality with price having no idea of what real quality is, you know the adage you get what you pay for was coined by some one selling low quality goods at over inflated prices, the fact is you don't get what you pay for all the time.
This is me rambling.

I still use my pro lab. They can do plenty that Costco can't do and I don't know where I'd be without my pro lab.

A local 1 hour lab has gone out of business due to digital photography and I miss having them here. The owner just didn't have the money to invest in all the new equipmnet he would need to continue.

However, I don't think a digital camera and Costco can ever take the place of a trained, experienced photographer and a professional lab.
