I use my local Costco all the time and THEY ROCK. I have their
profiles downloaded to my computer and get super quality from them.
Of course I have to take in jpg files, not raws.

I'm guessing that, from my personal observations, that Costco
isn't geared to the shooter that gets RAW files but rather the
jpegs that come from the P&S digicams. At least that's what it
looks like at my local Costco where most of the folks are getting
snap shots printed .
If the techs at your store are anything like those at mine they
may be able to explain things.

You're right on about RAW files at Costco but I have had TIFF files
printed at my Costco here in Clearwater, Florida. It takes a bit
longer but the very large Japanese printer will spit them out with
good quailty.
