Sorry - I can't seem to follow all the rules.  On all the other lists  
I belong to we commonly email each other directly when we don't  
intend the message to go to everyone.

No top posts - no bottom posts - no direct email - I think I've got  
it now.

I didn't see any of those in the mailing list posting guidelines at

I think you're right.  I think I'll look elsewhere.
