What image are we tralking about with a copyright notice? I'd expect a (R) for registered trademark, not (C) on the Red Hat logos like the shadow man, or the red hat. > Well, now, this is important. Removing the copyright notice, doesn't invalidate the copyright. Infringing is still illegal. Removing the notice could lead to someone else thinking it's public domain, and them getting into trouble, while it may not be illegal to remover the notice, it's not "nice". (I'm not sure about the legal side. Since everything in the U.S.A. is automatically copyrighted when published, the notice is not needed in my opinion.
