I think there is a big big difference in not want to shoot and WON'T SHOOT.

As far as I know RIT does not offer any online courses - but I left there a year ago and things could be different.
For basic near UV mostly you just need a filter - something like an 18A equivalent. Visually opaque. Since
most cameras would have low sensitivity to UV you will probably need large apertures, high sensor speeds and
long exposure times! Tripod and outdoor helps.
