Did it happen once, or is it systematic?
Is the time always the same?
Most important, are yuo receiving or transmitting data during the
interval, or is the line connected, active if you like the word, or idle
while you are doing something else?
If the last case is true, then simply your ISP hangs the line while too
idle.

software and/or operation problems.
Keep offline for issues which are not of general interest.
