Zsolt,

I got to unpack the dkms package using lzma and cpio. (Thanks, Nikolay!)
Now, I compiled the sources, step-by-step, as you recommended,
applying the patches first.

The problem now is, when I try to load "agrmodem" up , I get the
following kernel error message:

agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_free_urb
agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_get_dev
agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_deregister
agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_control_msg
agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_set_interface
agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_submit_urb
agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_register_driver
agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_buffer_free
agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_alloc_urb
agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_buffer_alloc
agrmodem: Unknown symbol usb_put_dev
