For the same reason Fedora puts out releases targeting those 
architechures?  :) 

I'm not wedded to any particular hardware architechure.  The only 
proprietary software on my personal systems are their BIOSes and other 
low-level firmware.  I suspect that, in the Fedora world, I'm far from 
unique.
