I only have the one display. I haven't encountered any issues with KDE
or SDDM. I used both long before these problems started. I can try gdm,
and will get that set up later tonight.

Do you have any links or resources I can read about these issues? My day
to day use with KDE has been rather enjoyable, and I'd hate to have to
use something else.
