Or are we happy with the elitism? Our >users< aren't fools (and (most) of 'em aren't rocket scientist either. :-) Speaking about both RHEL and Fedora. However, I think the *biggest* part of our >package monkeys< (the people who need to *support* those arches) are quite well educated and have strong Linux knowledge... Maybe I'm totally wrong - I don't hope so. The way we put together the distro... Yes, without mp3 support for example. I often heared: It's to difficult for me to use Fedora, because they don't support this and that (out of the box)... Well mp3 *many* times... :-) That's why it comes to mind mind first. And the silly, dumb userbase who want Linux preinstalled on their computers with printed handbook, some DVD and stickers and whatever... We aren't going to support them with FLOSS only software anytime soon... Some elitism is there for sure :-) 2 cent. -of -- Fedora-maintainers mailing list Fedora-maintainers@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-maintainers -- Fedora-maintainers-readonly mailing list Fedora-maintainers-readonly@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-maintainers-readonly
