softdevice doubts

Ok I have compiled and installed directfb cvs snapshot without problems. 
But when I try to compile DFB++ cvs snap i get this:

./configure: line 19750: syntax error near unexpected token `DIRECTFB,'
./configure: line 19750: `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(DIRECTFB, directfb >= 
$DIRECTFB_VERSION)'
