Okay, it looks like the delimiter was the problem. It was set to '.'
instead of '/', so the folders appear to show up properly now.

I also read more thoroughly the directions for the autosubscribe (I
was thinking about it incorrectly), and have set the refresh to 3600.
It appeared to work, but now users are reporting text in the left pane
saying:

ERROR: Could not complete request.
Query: SUBSCRIBE "mail"
Reason Given: SUBSCRIBE failed: Already subscribed to mailbox mail

Why would it try to subscribe when it's already listed in .mailboxlist?

I've recreated manually all .mailboxlist files for all users and
disabled again the autosubscribe for now.
