Colorbyte isn’t Epson. It just runs Epson printers. I need a RIP due to my flourishing interest in printing on vinyl, which is all done with RIPs. I need to proof images through the RIP at 100% use size and it does not matter what the substrate is. AFter I get used to it, I can change my current workflow to use the RIP adn most likely get better prints than through the Epson drive euphemistically called “softRIP”.
