Re: RIP

After taking a master black and white printing class with George DeWolfe I purchased ColorByte for my Epson 3800; I'd been getting inconsistent results using the Epson drivers. ImagePrint fixed that in a hurry.

It's expensive but ColorByte has great customer service and a product that works. I have used a wide selection of papers for my black and white work and they all print beautifully without color shift. I don't do much of my own color printing but when I do ImagePrint makes it a breeze.

You will need an open USB port for the required dongle.

I'm glad I purchased it…printing is absolutely stress free.

NO,. this is not about a death. I am looking at RIPs and wonder if anybody here has anything great to say about the Colorbyte RIP for Epson (and I suppose other) printers.
