Framing is what Steven Spielberg and movie cameramen get paid a lot of money to do. To say they are cropping is an error. They are framing and I’m sure most photographers on this list trying to shoot full-frame are framing rather than cropping. At least 99% of my pictures in the last 20 years have been full-frame rather than cropped shots.
