They've redesigned them on the side now. If you're right handed they're on the left side and if you're left handed you just go into the Control Panel and selecte the left version and flip the Bamboo so the buttons are now on the R side. The way I have it set up, the buttons would always be on the side facing the computer, since my imput device is to the R of my keyboard.
