Or you could just use "Save for Web" in Photoshop as it strips out  
the EXIF data and thumbnail, as well as giving the option to include  
or exclude an ICC profile.

To see the EXIF data in a photo:  open in Photoshop and go to File-- 
File info and use the drop-down menu to find "EXIF"
