How do you:
A-find all that metadata in these images?
How do we:
B-strip it out before posting?
I'm curious.

There's a loss of contrast in this image from flare, which has also
softened the picture overall - possibly a dirty lens, or maybe just
a low contrast one? . Also a 0.3 degree cc rotation brought this a
bit more balance to my eye. The thumbnail looked enticing, but the
full size image didn't strike me much.
- The 95kb image had a 7kb thumbnail embedded in it, and stripped of
metadata colour space information, Apple tags, Adobe tags and
thumbnail(s) it reduced to 59kb
Quintin Tallon - Eric Girard 007
Vivid! A little 40 pixel cropped off the left seemed to settle this
more for me.
- The 134kb image had when stripped of metadata (written by ACDSEE
as well as Adobe!) as well as weblinks and colour space info,
reduced to 128kb

After image graphic rendering of images interests me little, but
that's just me .. and you clearly have ideas you want to explore so
go nuts! Not a lot I can say other than that.
- The 112kb image had at least one 5kb thumbnail embedded in it, and
stripped of metadata, HP printer information, Adobe signatures and
thumbnail(s) it reduced to 66kb
Christopher Strevens - Roman Soldier
Am I detecting a slight (4 degree) lean to the right in this image?
I can see a cyan cast which quickly cleans up.. to reveal a faint
green cast - beat these under control and we have a nice record shot
of a happy looking conqueror
- The 93kb image had a 10kb thumbnail embedded in it, and stripped
of metadata, colour space information, Apple tags and thumbnail(s)
it reduced to 78kb

Tacky?? I can't imagine such a magnificent land formation being
described as such! but then I've not been there.. Reducing the
gamma and bumping the contrast 'till I get a richer green in the
water made me go 'ooOOooh!', but I don't know whether the water was
green pretty or green toxic so..
- The 48kb image had a 2kb thumbnail embedded in it, and stripped of
metadata, colour space information, Apple & Adobe tags, colour
profiles, weblinks and thumbnail it reduced to a teeny 10kb

The green cast needs to be removed and sharpened, this comes up
nicely. I expect a bigger image would overcome part of the problem
with the focal length as others have mentioned. If you'd had that
nice long lens with you, a short walk 50 or so feet to the right
would have made a stunning image.
- The 136kb image had a 5kb thumbnail embedded in it, and stripped
of metadata, colour space information, Adobe and Apple tags and
thumbnail it reduced to 111kb
Gregory david Stempel - Seattle Space Needle No. 4
Half a degree clockwise would straighten that tower, and again we
have a faint green cast hiding in that mixed lighting. I LOVE night
shots, though having got lost at night on those highways - without a
roadmap - and with a plane to catch (missed) I get shivers and break
into a sweat looking at this image. It also makes me want to phone
up Anitas relatives and abuse them for the dodgy directions they
gave me to get to the airport. Pixellation (banding/blocking) in
the deep shadows spoils this a tad.
- The 129kb image had a 5kb thumbnail embedded in it, and stripped
of metadata, colour space information, Apple & Adobe tags, colour
profiles, weblinks and thumbnail it reduced to 89kb
Overall impressions of the gallery - getting rid of the non-image
stuff in images lets you get a higher quality image uploaded! No
actual image data is lost in the stripping process, no pixels are
harmed, though loud brash signatures from The Corporations are
hastily escorted to the exit and told to shove off.
personally.. the one I like the best - Mr Strevens shot for a
clean, crisp image vies with Mr Stempels for its mood
