html is text and takes up very little space. html wouldn't add more
than 10K to an image, if that. This is easy to check, look at any

What would help, Guy, is for you to provide your complete workflow,
where you are checking file size, etc. File size will show as
different in different applications for a variety of reasons.
1.6MB extra sounds like either you are doing something wrong, you
have a serious configuration error, or some sort of virus/trojan is
attaching itself to your images and/or email.
