Irfanview can handle RAW files, you need the plug-ins package, which makes 
it incredibly useful.  It displays large folders of RAW files much faster 
than PS CS, and can convert them much faster, especially in batch mode.  I 
have a hard time understanding why it's free, it does far more than any 
other image utility.
