They don't seem to work

Here are four simple ways to grab the image your computer downloads when you
view the image such that you can view it later

1. right click and choose 'save image'
2. click a;t-print screen (for PC's)
3. left click the image and drag it nto irfanview or any other simple image
program and it will open there, select 'save as' .
4.make a mental note of the name of the jpeg and hit start>find>files or
folders, and type in the file name. When the search finds it tucked away in
your temp folder, right click on the file name and select 'save as' and pop
it wherever you want

It's as simple as that. Even if one of those java progs has some code to
delete the file after viewing, as long as it's still being displayed on your
monitor it's available somewhere in your PC to be grabbed.

As nice as it would be to allow people to view images without pinching them,
without insisting the viewer download, install and run some special software
to be able to view your mages (and even then there's probably workarounds)
it's unlikely anyone will prevent unauthorised image use

I guess one could run alternating coloured wiggly lines through the image,
allowing viewer to get an idea of what the image looks like without getting
a decent enough image to print or use (?)
