Speakup in an initramfs? I love it. Let's remember that technology will continue to bmove, and we should think creatively about how to do equivalents of Speakup in an initramfs going forward. What about a full computer on a USB stick? Boot the stick then start the main machine drive as a vm. Am I crazy? I think not. I suspect there are other opportunities, too.
