The config is always available in the Debian binary package, which can be
manipulated using ar:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deb_%28file_format%29

For the record, I've had no problems kernels for m68k, native and cross,
even with gcc 4.1.1 on Gentoo. It's always been stright forward.

And it's time to update the defconfigs again. I'm working on that...
