Hi Bjorn,

Might sound good but it doesn't work :-(

If you think it is a version problem should I remove the distro versions
of alsa and compile them all from the tarballs on the alsa web site?

One technical question though, I compiled the driver from the tarball,
version 1.0.18a. If I then compile a later version will the old version
be overwritten or should I remove, somehow, the old version before
compiling the latest version?

My apologies for continued questioning.

Kind regards,

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity,
and I'm not sure about the former.
