(Trying to add some constructive criticism now...) I think it would be good if we could ensure that the list of "approved" licenses and their official abbreviations would be in sync with what rpmlint considered valid licenses before this is put in place. Even better if rpmlint had knowledge of the new, machine-readable, license tag syntax and could validate that, too.
