I wasn't able to actually view any of these pages because the spinners just keep spinning. I assume this demo instance is so drastically under-resourced as to be effectively broken. But just from looking over the menu items, I'm pretty confused. It doesn't seem like it's designed to be a distro build system. Why would a Fedora packager ever need to Try and Buy or track Subscriptions and Spend? I haven't done more than just look at the overview page and the menu items, but what I see so far seems pretty drastically divorced from Fedora's actual needs.

fwiw, I've played with this instance a few times as well (usually during/right after attending a Konflux-related talk at a conference) and I've never managed to get anything useful out of it. It's still not entirely clear to me what Konflux is designed for in the first place, but there seems to be a fundamental impedance mismatch with the way a distribution is put together. I say this without meaning any slight to the people involved, but the proposed RPM build flow currently feels like a hack and something sorta bolted onto a system that's fighting against it on every step of the way. I'm sure with enough effort it would be possible to evolve it into something usable, but one has to wonder if this effort wouldn't be better spent improving what we currently have, or evaluating other build systems that might be better suited for actually building a distribution, instead of trying to shoehorn it into something so alien.

I've also raised a few times already that the permission model that Konflux uses seems at odds with how package maintenance works in Fedora, and that it seems like it would be difficult to support the rich ACLs that we currently have (where e.g. I can be an owner on some packages, a committer that can only build for EPEL on others, and a member of several groups that give me build access to a variety of ecosystem-specific packages) in this system.

Cheers
