Yes I got that it's the hw version of "if it builds let's ship
it, even if upstream is dead" approach.
The
thing is we could elimination so much of technical debt in
Fedora if we would drop the legacy bios support and could move
the distro quite a bit forward in coming releases if we did but
from the looks of it, it seems to have been already decided to
"form a sig" and drop this proposal so meh Fedora 40 then...
