Hi Stephen, Text is a poor communication medium. I've worked to remain objective and dispassionate in the face of mischaracterizations and accusations. My post that you replied to was not dispassionate, but it's becoming difficult to remain so. I've been trying to meet with Matthew for two weeks now so we can avoid text, but he keeps canceling or declining the meetings. Thus, we are stuck with text for now. Matthew, my door is still open to talk. > I strongly doubt that Matthew (of all people!) is trying to insult > anyone in Fedora. In my first reply to him, I explicitly gave him the benefit of the doubt. He did not return the favor. It's hard to see how accusing me of trolling on a public list (and in a private message), misconstruing what I said, and claiming that I said "_they're_ the problem" were done in good faith. Each of Matthew's apologies were accompanied with an accusation, which communicates that he wasn't really sorry. A person acting in good faith would simply have apologized. > Because piling onto what I can reasonably guess is just a case of bad > phrasing is bringing the conversation into a needlessly negative and > personal space. I disagree that it is simply bad phrasing, but I agree with your broader point and goal. Thank you.
