That's a separate issue. MTAs and syslog are going to be needed for many
very important use cases for years to come. That doesn't mean we need to
install them by default. Apache, PostgresQSL, and may other important
servers aren't installed by default. For that matter, Postfix and Exim
aren't installed by default. We can still care about them -- as Fedora or in
general -- without putting them on every system whether it makes sense or
not.
