Hello All,

Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora has made last week.

Weston/Wayland
================
  • SPEC-4412 (POPUP activation/deactivation issue) - found an issue with pop-up roles w/ de-activation; added MR to address it
  • SPEC-4413 (Decouple xdg-shell activation from keyboard activation) - this is a follow-up from SPEC-4281 (Multi-seat vs no seate policy) which require a split from the initial jira spec to avoid introducing some additional work-arounds. This SPEC only deals with  *only* missing keyboard activation issue and it is a bug-fix, although unobservable.
  • SPEC-4359 (No VT change happens for images without pslash/missing polkit pkg) - minor comments & looking into possible updates from upstream
  • SPEC-4415 (Cmd line argument to start compositor without inputs) - added a cmd line option to skip checking for inputs; it's a command line alternative to require-input=false but passing directly at start-up. MR added
  • SPEC-4420 (Crash at shutdown due to invalid link access for layer fini) - found a crash in multiple output set-ups. MR added
  • SPEC-4281 (Multi-seat vs no seats policy in the compositor) - testing it out various scenarious - with SPEC-4413 applied and faking out seats. Trying to come up with various scenarious which might be of interest.
  • SPEC-4419 (Can not return to LAUNCHER with multiple displays and homescreen on HDMI-A-1) - minor comments & follow-ups
  • gerrit.automotivelinux.org/gerrit/c/apps/html5-settings/+/27588 + gerrit.automotivelinux.org/gerrit/c/apps/html5-mixer/+/27585 - minor reviews for web apps
Best regards,

Kiril
