                                  All,
                                  

                                  Please
                                    find below a brief summary of the
                                    progress Collabora has made last
                                    week.
                                  

                                Weston/Wayland
                                

                              -  SPEC-4169 (build with snapshot
                              SDK) - removed explicit native dependency
                              for meson build. After some fiddling
                              discovered that setting it to native it
                              wipes out PKG_CONFIG_PATH making it
                              impossible to find out the scanner. By
                              removing it entirely we let meson handle
                              dependency on its own.
                            

                            - SPEC-4195
                              (opensshd replaced with dropbear) +
                              SPEC-4237 (graphical/dbus session) -
                              confirmed that changing dropbear with
                              opensshd will bring back pam_systemd.so
                              session account together with
                              XDG_RUNTIMED_DIR and DBUS env variables.
                              Bit down the road discovered that these
                              variables aren't re-created if one would
                              to runas/su as a different user, even if
                              using --login option. Proposed some
                              alternatives, mostly with the focus of
                              making development easier.
                                

                                  Application
                                      Framework (this was for the
                                    week before, last week Arnaud had a
                                    week off)

                                    
                                  - SPEC-4215: Prevent applaunchd from
                                  starting multiple instances of the
                                  same application

                                  - SPEC-4222: Improve application
                                  switching in homescreen

                                  - SPEC-4236: Start documenting the new
                                  App FW
                                  

                                Pipewire
                                

                              -
                                              SPEC-4210 ( nav app on
                                              master doesnt work ) -
                                              fixed.

                                              - Config Conflict Issue -
                                              fixed.

                                              - Pipewire upgrade to
                                              latest - unblocked for
                                              merge.

                                              - Wireplumber config
                                              chagnes in LXC Containers
                                              - Resumed work on this
                                              task.
