summary of the
progress Collabora has
made last week.
Weston/Wayland
- SPEC-4276 (Frequent "Bad page map/state" since migration to BSP 5.9) - memory constrains might case bad page allocation stack traces: observed with test clients which allocate up the maximum available memory, but also when loading up crash dumps on the target
- SPEC-4288 (Click on the weather icon in the panel causes a WAM crash) - client crashes - drag and drop issue creeping out again (similar to an older HVAC update). Root cause undetermined as of yet, provided a temporary fix for the time being which disables dnd entirely in the panel.
- SPEC-4290 (HVAC doesn't update its contents but only after switching from launcher) - issue requires investigation but easily reproducible
- SPEC-4289 (No application shows up -- sometimes not always ) - most likely a consequence of SPEC-4252. Wainting for that be resolved until taking a look at this one. Compositor never receives ready() request so presentation is not not happening at all.
- added SPEC-4286 (Use jsons instead of XMLs for application configuration) and SPEC-4287 (Convert web-apps to use appjson format) as follow-up tasks to switch from the older appfw XMLs to just using JSONS to avoid a double conversion happening in WAM, simplies things quite bit
- SPEC-4295 (Removal of autobuilds scripts) - generic task to remove the autobuild scripts from all web apps
