Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora have made last week on Pipewire and Weston/Wayland.

PipeWire

George:
    - Updated pipewire & wireplumber in AGL master to the latest master as of Nov 19th
    - Set up hardware for alexa testing
    - Improved the pipewire clients permission checking so that it does not spam
      the journal with false-positive errors
    - Debugged a capture issue with the microchip microphone
    - Started implementing a session object in wireplumber, which is part of
      the work required to fix volume controls in master

Julian:
    - Created MR of the pipewire-dot tool on pipewire master
    - Finished implementing all WpConfigPolicy functionality, a wireplumber policy
      based on TOML configuration files meant to replace the current WpSimplePolciy
    - Created the first unit test to test endpoint creation and linking
 
Weston / Wayland

Daniel:
    - backported AGL compositor to libweston 6.0
    - submitted & merged libweston patch to expose weston_config entrypoints
    - upstreamed AGL compositor into Gerrit
    - submitted AGL compositor recipe and service file for meta-agl inclusion
    - submitting homescreen changes for review
    - to do this week: working with Scott Murray for app porting

Scott:
    - working on XDG app-ID window activation
