Please find below a brief summary of progress Collabora have made
last week on Pipewire and Weston/Wayland.
PipeWire
George:
- Debugged the audio underruns issue that mostly appears on qemu
but also on some devices (SPEC-2570)
- Assisted Julian with adding support for multiple streams on
endpoints
Julian:
- Implemented support for multiple streams (multimedia,
navigation, emergency, etc..) on audio output endpoints
- Fixed an audio distortion issue that was caused by wrongly
linking clients to devices
- Started looking into stopping clients when another one needs to
take over, a requirement for implementing policies
Weston / Wayland
Scott:
- WIP: Port weston to new reference AGL compositor design
- Window managment
