Please find below a brief summary of progress Collabora have made
last week on Pipewire and Weston/Wayland.
PipeWire
George:
- Prepared pipewire and its session manager (wireplumber) for
distribution
- Pushed recipes for pipewire and wireplumber into AGL master
- Built AGL master with pipewire and tried to test on the
raspberry pi (now blocked on SPEC-2393)
- Started working on the pipewire security portal
Julian:
- Implemented a simple policy module for wireplumber to do
endpoint linking
- Implemented the code paths required for linking endpoints
- WIP: Testing and fixing bugs around device discovery, policy
and endpoint linking
Weston / Wayland
Scott:
- WIP: Port weston to new reference AGL compositor design
