Please find below a brief summary of progress Collabora have made
last week on Pipewire and Weston/Wayland.
PipeWire
George:
- Implementing exposing the session manager endpoints on the
pipewire API, allowing the implementation of a mixer
- Implemented / improved a lot of session manager internals
Julian:
- Implemented discovery of ALSA devices in the session manager
- WIP: Implementing plumbing of the necessary nodes in
pipewire to make it possible to link an ALSA device with
applications (based on the code of the example session manager)
Weston / Wayland
Scott:
- WIP: Port Weston to new reference AGL compositor design
