Please find below a brief summary of progress Collabora have made
last week on Pipewire and Weston/Wayland.
PipeWire
George:
- Fixed some outstanding issues for the 8.0.0 release (gerrit
22006, 22007, 21999)
- Started reworking the Endpoint API in order to push it
upstream
- Started looking into support for the Fiberdyne DSP through
unicens
- Did some initial reading and testing on unicensd and its XML
config
Julian:
- Completed HFP support in pipewire & submitted the patches
upstream https://github.com/PipeWire/pipewire/pull/170
Weston / Wayland
Scott:
- WIP: Port weston to new reference AGL compositor design
- Port reference shell-client (i.e. user-interface) to new
design
- Implement Wayland extension protocol for shell-client
