I've done some tests on imx6q board with 1G RAM using the agl-demo-platform.
I found that overall performance is okay; but ~ less than vivante (westson-6.0.0-imx) imho .
Loading application for the first time still takes some time; same behavior with vivante.

I'd personally prefer to wait for it to show up in meta-freescale.
If that happens early enough before the HH final release (8.0.0), it's
probably doable to add an option to build with Vivante instead of
etnaviv. After 8.0.0, it'd perhaps be doable in a point release if the
changes aren't too substantial.
