This is an old thread, but now the problem is back again. Please

With kernel version 3.11.10, the system beep works perfectly. After
ugrading to kernel 3.12.x on my Fedora 19 system, the beep is lost, even
thoug amixer shows the mixer control for Beep. Hope this one can be
fixed.
