Ronan,

by the way, be careful regarding bruteFIR - it might be not
good for concert performances, and the matter is latency.

It is still good for home listening from CDs, etc.

The solution would be an IIR-based equalizer, and its
advantages/disadvantages compared to a FIR is a separate topic.
