You have an LCD that expects 640x480 interlaced?  Really?

RGB input, 640x480 interlaced, composite sync. yes, it expects that and can't take anything else when in RGB mode.

It can take a composite signal too, and outputs v/h sync pulses to synchronize overlaying with RGB signals, in that mode RGB inputs are 2v and digtal. Or it can be switched to RGB but requires composite sync in that case.

strange beast indeed. Usually for DVD players with some microcontroller generating some on-screen display I believe.
