Dear members,

I have found my sollution. Yes... it was quiet drastic. I changed my
video card, put in a S3Virge-based card, and my problem was gone.
It is quiet obvious the Diamond Stealth 2500 is not supported by RedHat. It
works fine under a windows OS, as i have changed it into the windowscomputer
where i took away the S3Virge-based card.

Just for the record.

Thanks for all the help provided.

regards,
john
