On your control panel, right-click and go to "add applet to panel", then look for KBFX Spinx. Once added, you get an ugly launch icon. That might be what you want. I would add that when I do this apparently simple thing, kicker or control panel goes all wonky, crashes and restarts. And when I right-click to move the kbfx icon, my TDE menu and other stuff disappears.
