Better to actually change the number in /etc/init.d/network, don't you think? Something like this:


1. Change "chkconfig: 2345 10 90" to "chkconfig: 2345 19 81"

2. # chkconfig --del network

3. # chkconfig --add network

This will take care of making sure that all the S* and K* files are properly created and named at the number you selected, with a lot less effort.
