i didnt have this problem when i just updated the libraries i was even able to upload some .avi taken with the camera (except no .avi from within the gimp plugin, otherwise ok)
As I said, I have no way of knowing whether this is a software problem or something inside the camera. Maybe some files got screwed by leaving them in the CF card for a month, I don't know.
i just wish it was compiled with the extinf info
