Sigh. > dont know if you are using normal or ptp mode i didnt have this problem when i just updated the libraries i was even able to upload some .avi taken with the camera (except no .avi from within the gimp plugin, otherwise ok) i just wish it was compiled with the extinf info i have canon s45 good luck randy
